2. It's trying to snow here, but not quite making it
We may get some overnight if the precipitation continues.

The cats are going nuts. Little muddy footprints all over the house.

5. It's raining in Ottawa. Got outside after a 14 hour shift and it was beautiful and mild outside.
I missed a great day. I hear tomorrow will be nice too.

6. You live in Redding?
Is the Liquor Barn as cool as my imagination, fueled by seeing billboards for it, says it should be?

10. It started snowing here in Portland around 6 this morning
It rained the past two days so underneath the 2 inches of snow is a nice glaze of ice. It's windy and the snow was blowing all around. It's not supposed to get above the mid twenties all week! Wednesday, when I have to drive my Dad to the airport, we're supposed to have more, either snow or (horror) freezing rain! At night it's going to get down to the mid teens. Hasn't been that cold here since 1990!

Whew, sounds really cold!

Stay warm, OK?

12. Don't worry, Dear Peggy!
I'm wearing long johns and two pairs of wool socks and a thermal undershirt covered with a sweatshirt covered with a flannel shirt at this very moment! I went out for a walk to Trader Joe's today (don't get to walk in the snow very often) and was comfortable doing so! So as far as keeping warm goes, so far, so good! I'm waiting to see if the hoarfrost makes bizarre and beautiful patterns on my windows like they did back in '90!

And no dear, I'm afraid that's not a pic I took...It's from the Oregonian's website, I thought it was a nice picture (I miss my squirrels, the landlady cut down the cedars outside my windows the week before Thanksgiving...they were weakened by a bug infestation and too close to the building. ;( I've taken pictures but have to buy a scanner to upload them...That or a digital camera! But as a consolation, here is a pic I took from my front door at the next to last place I lived, during the last "blizzard" we had, back around New Year's Day 2004...That's my car and I still have it! It's 32 years old and still runs! Apologies for it being so small, but when I uploaded it Photobucket had some bigtime size constraints.
