Framed pics of the grandkids

A cool leather paperweight intended to hold open books when you need more than two hands!

Three movies on DVD: The Shawshank Redemption, Across the Universe, and a Concert for George!

2. Merry Christmas, Peggy!

I got a DVD--_A Mighty Wind_ (Santa told me it was only a buck at Big Lots) and some "Good Eats" DVD's from my daughter. Woo Hoo!

But mostly it was a day (mostly) with my girls and my girlfriend and her family.

4. Nothing yet...

...since I'm in Spain, I get to wait for the 3 kings to get their shit together and pass out gifts. It's like hearding cats with those clowns!

5. I finally got some red suspenders!

I had black, I had navy blue, I had brown (dark and light)...but I've always wanted a bright fire-engine red pair o' suspenders and my daughter read my mind.

(UK DUers, think "braces" instead of suspenders!) :blush:

7. I scored!

Digital picture frame from DD#1 & grandkids and a framed picture of the three of them.

Laptop fan and Wallflowers scents from DD#2, her hubby & grandkids.

Gift certificates for massage and facial from my favorite spa in Indian Wells from hubby.

But my joy was spending Christmas Eve and morning with my four grandchildren and my daughters.

9. Money, a new digital camera, a digital photo frame, a jacket, and some nice vegan bodycare stuff.

Oh, and my sister managed to turn up the old vegan formulation of the lip balm I love somewhere and bought that for me. Since the company reformulated and the newer tubes aren't vegan. Since that was so lucky and thoughtful (geez, she remembered the brand of lip stuff I like...) this made my day probably more than the rest of the stuff put together did.
