DU computer techies, help! My "My Documents" is now a "banner" at the top of my home page screen!
There it is, displaying the name of every file. I don'tknow how it got there! How do I get it to go away?

2. Sounds like it might've gotten dragged up as a toolbar.
Right click on your taskbar, go to Toolbars, uncheck "My Documents".

4. Glad that was it. If you accidentally drag a folder to the edge of the screen...

Windows interprets it as you wanting to create a toolbar out of the folder. You probably did it without noticing maybe?

5. Well, "My Documents" is on the upper left corner of my screen, but
I am not in the habit of dragging it anywhere. So while that is possible, it seems unlikely. However, ya never know.

Thank you again. I can't believe I didn't think of that, but then I am an "old" person, so I have an excuse!
