So I kept getting these 'support our troops/god bless G.W. Bush' myspace bulletins when I was running the band's page. One looked like this:



So I made it look like this:



It was no slight towards homosexuals but more of a testament that pictures on myspace mean nothing especially in the world of photoshop.

True the picture might have been photoshopped.

But the power of media and symbols is shown.

Even if it was not photoshopped, it is still just two soldiers. But by symbolic representation people, in there heads, think it means all soldiers think that way.

In light of Prop 8 I probably wouldn't be so quick to publish something like that, but at the time I saw no harm in it except to make an asshole feel like an asshole.
