Asking for vibes and good thoughts for my sister

She had a heart attack in 2005 and it damaged her heart. She had some stents put in earlier this year because of more blockage. In Nov. she said she had some pains and called the Dr. who set up a stress test for yesterday. Well they found out she has 2 more blockages and needed more stents and she probably had another heart attack.
She went on today to have it done but they can't get to one of the arteries so they will do open heart surgery next week. She has to go home and rest for a week. She can't do anything....
The Dr told her the odds of this operation are good. only 2% chance of anything bad happening.... (thank God)
but I don't want to take the chance of listening to that statistic. So I am asking for some healing vibes, good thoughts and prayers or what ever you got.....

See it's me and my sister. My parents are dead and we lost both brothers.
Yes I have my kids to but she is the only one left with me of the "original" family and I don't want to be left alone.

It sounds like she is in good hands.
I won't go into details but it seems like the majority of family memebers that I am still on speaking terms with are having health issues (including TWO having back surgery in the next two weeks).

36. My Dad had several open heart surgeries over the course of his life

and they all went well, they occurred over the course of 4 decades and with each one the recovery time grew shorter and easier.

The state of medicine for heart surgery is very very good. My Dad never had stents put in - these were all bypasses and valve work and finally insertion of an ICU (souped up pace maker).

I'll bet she'll come through it all very well and have a good new years with you and all your loved ones.
