Who else is doing absolutely nothing tonight?
Might play a game with the kids. They want to stay up. I might pass out in the recliner while they try to make it to midnight.

Happy frickin New Year's Eve.

Woo. Hoo.

1. Hmmm...not much going on over here either
I'm knitting and playing on the intertubes, Sniffa is on his computer and watching college football...pretty mellow, with cocktails. :D

2. I'm snowed in...
which sucks because I was planning a trip to Times Square and I was going start moving stuff down. Instead, I'm stuck here with my parents who are planning on a night of surgical shows and CNN.

39. Too damn cold to be in Times Square anyway
I went from my car to the supermarket and almost froze my face off! And the wind is hideous.

8. We're trying to get old adventure games going on the 'puter
Having been told about Dosbox by our very intelligent son, DS1, we're getting old DOS games going again- it's Gabriel Knight tonight. Tex Murphy is our other HUGE favorite.
Two oldsters doing old adventure games with liberal doses of wine and champers - we like the simple things!

26. New Year in NJ
There's a cat sprawled on on every warm radiator cover. Occasionally one will hop up here on my lap and purr her little head off.

It's 20 degrees in NJ but the RealFeel says it's more like minus 5.

The 'frig is full of casual foods like pizza, Japanese dumplings, salad, sandwiches, sodas, wine.

Mr. NJC is in Switzerland hiking up a mountain (crazy!).

I'm playing on the internets and experimenting with my Christmas present, Adobe Creative Suite 4.

Watching Twilight Zones and checking in on DU.

For later, I have a big stack of new books on my bedstand.

I can't think of anything else I'd rather be doing! :)

working on my writing. I won't be going to bed early, tho, since my neighbors feel obligated to whoop and holler and shoot off fireworks to let everyone know they're not boring.

Me, I'm boring and proud of it!
