The challenge is can you prove affirmatively that there must be two people with the same number of hairs in their beard?

There are 4,000 to 40,000 hairs in a normal human beard.

But, since Alopecia Barbae exists, There must be some people suffering it that have but one remaining hair in their beard. Therefore, one can say that there are people with all numbers of hairs in their beard going from 1 to 40,000.

The population age distribution in the US, between the ages of 0 and 61 is well over 3.5 million per age year.

Assuming the lower boundary of 3.5 million, there are at least 3.5 * 40 or 140 million people in the US over the age of 21. Half are male, so 70 million adult males with the potential to grow beards.
