Best rock song featuring piano
I don't know if the question makes sense

my top 2 (don't know which is #1) would be

Great Balls of Fire - Jerry Lee Lewis
Benny and the Jets - Elton John

Suggest others!

but you've got that one covered :)

I saw Elton on a solo arena tour about 9-10 years ago, and he was amazing! Just him and a piano.

3. I've seen him 5 times
he is my favorite.

2x with billy Joel
2x with his band
1x just him and a piano

all of them excellent, but the one with him and the piano was awesome

Not in this case, anyway. :)

Those were the first Rock 'n' Roll songs I remember hearing. My cousin played piano in a band that covered B. Bumble, and I well remember him playing them in our living room when I was 5. So they kind of mean a lot to me.

Guy could write a melody to beat out almost anyone, but he had a horrific sense of lyrics.

They had Rick Wakeman up against the keyboardist from Level 42, running all the way up the scales with the left hand, and Wakeman lost!!

Either Wakeman isn't left handed but the Level 42 guy is, or Rick was having a bad day that day. I still can't believe the results of that every time I watch it. It cost me all my internet betting points the day that show aired.

At the very least, "Saturday Night's All Right for Fighting", "Crocodile Rock", "Pinball Wizard", "Someone Saved My Life Tonight"... those are the ones off the top of my head.

I'm not a huge fan anymore, but Reg Dwight did get me interested in learning the piano.
