Good to see you, too! The past few weeks haven't been the favorites of my life, but I'm still hanging in there...

Just don't get the chance to be here very often. Hoping that all's well with you, too...

2. Jimmy Fallon is sucktastic. His fucking CAREER should sue him for 'defamation of character'
Apparently, some producers somewhere have become convinced
that "annoyingly & mindlessly untalented" is the new "amusing",
so Jimmy just keeps getting work thrown his way.

We live in some sad times.

10. Agreed. Worst SNL graduate ever.
And that is saying an awful lot.

4. Shit, I thought Conan sucked - Jimmy must really be terrible.
We tivoed Conan's last show, and could not even watch half of it - it was terrible.

13. No, Conan was great!
At least he was great when I was in college and could stay up until 1 am.

14. When I was in high school, I couldn't wait to be old enough to watch Johnny Carson.
When I was old enough, I had to get up to go to work.
Now that I can stay up as long as I like (retired) I don't feel like staying up - I go the sleep early get up around 4 AM.

Life is fucking wierd.(My philosophy after 61 years of life experience and around 5 different colleges. Maybe I should ask for my money back.)

11. Of course it is! Problem #1: It stars Jimmy Fallon
The Onion's "News in Photos" put it best right after he left SNL: Jimmy Fallon Six Tantalizing Months from Disappearing Forever. If only!

15. dare I say, even Dennis Miller was better on SNL than him
Edited on Tue Mar-03-09 05:30 PM by Dukkha
Fallon fails miserably at the golden rule of Comedy, it's all in the delivery. He constantly stammers through his material, eyeballs the camera in character during sketches, when he wasn't breaking character which was very often! Carol Burnett you are not!

Conan O'Brien had a hard time his first season but he actually had an advantage of being an unknown then. He came in with no preconceived expectations and rose to the occasion. People already know Fallon's an annoying putz and won't be as patient with him. I'm looking forward to the reunited Conan O'Brien and Andy Richter, some of the best chemistry on TV there.

16. I didn't think he was any worse than Conan...
Granted, that sets the bar really low, since I found Conan even more intolerable than the Shamwow guy.
