Then We Came to the End: A Novel
by Joshua Ferris

About an advertising firm in 2001 right when the dotcom starts to go bust. I never laughed so hard reading a book.

Just a recommendation.

1. Our small agency went bust in '02.....
although we really started to see things
slip as early as '99.

Will I laugh or cry?

2. You will identify and laugh you ass off.
It is well written. The other tells in in first person POV but as "we" instead of "I". The it switches to 3rd person POV for a chapter but the ending explains why. It's very different and if you've ever worked with multiple personalities who love/hate one another, you will strongly indentify.

6. I read that a while back
Picked it up because I worked in advertising for three years in the '90s. Accurate, that's for sure!
