I want to turn in my apt. complex for not supplying hot water
This is something that's been going on for months, with more than one person filing complaints at the office. So far it's been a lost cause so today when I paid my rent I told the desk lady this was their last chance to keep the City from becoming involved.

I'm serious about reporting them, but I have no idea who would be able to grab hold and do something- Health Dept.? Someone else?

Anyone in the Dallas area who has a clue please reply here or PM me- it's been a while since I've felt safe after "washing" my dishes. And lukewarm water is no way to take a shower.

311 number to the city and ask the operator who you should talk to about wanting to complain about your landlord.

I would also call your city council rep.
They should be able to help you with that...or let you know what you should do.
They would probably want to know what is up in their part of town, anyway.

on edit.

have you written a letter to the management company?
Make sure you keep a record of dates, etc. problems, people talked to, etc.
Everything needs to be in writing.

2. I was just looking at the 311 web site.
Don't know if they can help- looks like their water services stop at the meter. Still, at least now I have a place to start.

I'm now trying to figure out which city District I'm in. My eyes are so bad I can't even read the damned online map...
