I'm Proud Of My Son...
I seem to be having a hard time finding people to share that with tonight

but he's 8, he's been taking tennis lessons for a month and today they had a multi school tournament and while all for fun, he did very well!

Then he went to his pinewood derby at cub scouts and he won 3 runs in his heat and took 2nd place in his den so he gets to go to the district derby if he wants.

I'm proud of him all the time, but I'm tickled pink when he's having fun and feeling like he's doing good and having some little victories.

Just thought I'd share it somewhere if anyone is at all interested. I am! :woohoo:

:hi:

11. ok cool,
I just posted because I needed an outlet to express myself and figured if no one replied, then it wouldn't be any different than it is in real life now. :P

15. I'm glad you posted it, to tell the truth that's generally why i avoid posting things
about my kid. Anyhow those things he's doing with your support are such good confidence boosters you know, he's doing new things, succeeding and having fun at the same time. I''m really happy for the both of you and the fact that your there makes a big difference, he'll remember that when he's an adult.

21. oh, those pinewood derbys.
my cousin was in cub scouts, and I remember spending hours and hours carving his car. Measuring and racing and re measuring and re racing. We would stay up for days and nights on end. What fun!
