bluesboy's knee surgery was a success today.
Small tear in the medial meniscus was cleaned up. Doc was able to the loss to a minimum. The boy is home and resting. Thanks to all for the vibes.:hi:

1. Great news!
On behalf of a longtime collector of sports injuries, I implore you to be a mean dad and insist that he do any physio exercises they give him. He'll spring back now regardless of whether he does them or not, but darn will he pay when he's older if he's lax (or so I hear :yoiks:).

4. To answer both you and leftyclimber,
He will be doing physical therapy. His doc is one of the best knee guys in our area, but this is his second knee scope in four months. We think he may have pushed it a little too hard the first go round, so we're going to take it extra slow this time and make sure it's completely calm before he heats it up. He's a linebacker/fullback in football and middie in Lacrosse.
