:hide: Can't wait to break out my Weber Charcoal Grill in a month - maybe I'll clean it up this weekend and sear some tuna steaks on it. EDIT NOTE: I adore Midlo but she is very wrong when it comes to grilling!

4. Just because it's bigger doesn't mean it's better
Especially since you haven't invited any of us DUers over to witness it

2. Yeah, I like that lingering whisp of lighter fluid ;}
Actually, I'm one of the ones who makes everyone wait until the coals are all white/red before putting anything on. Veggie-kabobs usually. Garlic cloves on a kettle grill is one of the most amazing substances you can ever introduce into your mouth.

3. I don't use lighter fluid - I have one of those funnel thingies
gets the charcoal lit real nicely

I don't understand using a gas grill either... charcoal is the only way to go IMO.

10. It's the only way to go. No yucky fumes and a lot faster, too.

11. I use an electric starter
A heating element you plug into the nearest outlet. Works great.

20. My kids bought me the chimney to use with my dutch oven when we go camping.
They were pretty impressed with the meals I can turn out with that big old black pan. They only wish I had discovered dutch oven cooking when they were still at home and we were camping more often.
