BATTLESTAR GALACTICA inspired TERMINATOR SALVATION?

There's a new terminator salvation trailer up @ yahoo, and it looks like they are borrowing a major theme from Galactica--humans and machines being hybridized, and not just by putting skin on a robot.

They even seemed to borrow the element of the hybrid not knowing they are part machine.

If it works, its all good to me. I'm just surprised to see what looks like such an obvious borrowing.
