3. Those oranges sure look good.
They must like the sunny climate in LA.

5. My dear Lionel Mandrake!
And I can tell you they are good!

Juicy, flavorful...

And they love this sort of climate...though it hasn't been too sunny here just yet.

4. When I visited my brother in Florida, he had fruit trees everywhere...
...in his yard. I was jealous. As I am of you...;-)

6. My dear Robeson!
Ah, sweetie...I'm sorry you're jealous!

Having these little trees (2 orange and 1 lemon, yum) is one of the big perks about living here...

Maybe you can get your brother to send you some?

Mine are already getting the beginning flowers for next year!:scared:

Thank you, sweetie...

7. What a joy! When my sister lived in Palo Alto, she had a lemon tree next to her front door.

That seemed so incredibly rich to me. I mean, I have an apple tree in my yard, but I don't have apples year-round!

ETA: Rich as in enriching one's life, not monetarily. Luxurious, more like.

8. My dear ogneopasno!
It is a wonderful thing!

And I understand what you mean by rich...These enrich my life..

And they don't bear year round either...though the fruit can be left on the branches. There are several mature trees in my neighborhood that are enormous, and the fruit stays up since it's so hard to reach.

Thanks for coming by!

9. Reminds me of when I lived in Orlando.
Nuthin' like fresh oranges off the tree.

Thank you, sweetie...

They are amazingly good!

I'm not much for the great outdoors, but these get me there...
