Your attempt to nullify the marriages of 18,000 loving couples in California is misguided and malicious. The rights of a minority should never be stripped by a simple majority vote, and the idea that divorcing parents could help the welfare of children is disgusting. History will condemn your actions.

6. That's not what she (or this petition) is saying.

Ken Starr is not merely the head legal counsel defending Prop 8. He was a VERY vocal supporter of it from the beginning. He's the bearer of the message at this point, a position he has gleefully embraced. He's not just a random lawyer who decided to take a case out of his sense of civic duty to the un-defended.
