Road trip
We're thinking of taking a road trip back East when my current contract is done. Where should we go? We're going for a week/week and a half and going to the Northeast (have to go to where I went to college in upstate NY in the Finger Lakes) otherwise it's wide open.

5. Yeah, I thought we'd swing through there.
I haven't been to Boston in years. I have a HS friend who lives there (Lexington) and my parents met in Boston.

6. I would highly recommend Turner's seafood restaurant in Melrose.
My daughter lives there and we make Turner's at least once every visit.
It's all super fresh, right off the boat, and excellently prepared.
Very friendly folks, too.
Family owned and operated.
Right on Main St.
No hard booze, just wine & beer.
Wide selection.

3. Upstate NY is very nice.
I spent some time in the Elmira/Horsehead region of NY and I highly recomend it. Along with a tour of the Corning glassware factory in Corning.

4. I went to college upstate
in the Finger Lakes region. We're definitely going there, because I haven't been back to good old Hobart since the day I graduated.
