An attractive male, liberal, 42, well employed, plays and sings blues in his band, one child 5 yrs old, wrote me on myspace and wants to get to know me. He has been listening to my playlist and "trying to digest the music" since it isn't what he normally listens to. My inane raves have "meant something" to him. I'm swooning from the short distance of two miles (he's that close!)

Of course, nothing will come of it. The other "nice man" who has been stalking me for the last couple days jusr revealed that he wants only friends, or friends with benefits, and he's glad to know me. Uh. NO. I'll do the friend thing though, because it's less alarming knowing ahead of time I want nothing he has to offer beyond friendship, plus he's funny etc.
