"Dora the Explorer going skank, moms fear" - NO JOKE - on CNN's site, not The Onion
It is one of those video links and I would be afraid to open it even if it was just text. It is on the main page.

9. That fucker's running a non-union crew.
There's a fine line here. If the tween Dora looks too feminine there are groups that are prepared to say they're trying to use Dora to sexualize America's impressionable youth, something hormones are apparently completely unable to do. If she doesn't look feminine enough, Donald Wildmon is prepared to say Dora's a lesbian and Mattel's selling the Gay Agenda.

There's a silhouette on the CNN video, and already I see problems--she has long flowing hair and slender legs. You KNOW they're going to claim Dora's selling anorexia and an unrealistic body image, especially since the current Dora is kinda pudgy and has a no-maintenance little-girl haircut.

Yup: damned if you do, damned if you don't.

13. Your statement is incorrect.
It's actually going the other way. There are so many people willing to fuck on camera now a days that finding people to do it for very little money is very easy.

8. Actually, I think this is a legitimate concern and story. While Dora drives me up the fracking wall,
the show is about an active, curious girl who goes on adventures and solves problems. Toys of her likeness, however, are falling into the Barbie trap and depend on hair styling, clothes and so on. I think it's an interesting change.

11. Don't get me started on Handy Manny.
Handy Manny is clearly a Colombian drug lord running a repair shop as a cover operation. Unfortunately, he has a habit of getting high on his own supply, thus giving him the impression that his tools can actually talk to him. Meanwhile, Kelly of Kelly's Hardware Store has a deep desire for Latin men and desperately wishes to jump Manny's bones.

And Mr. Lopart? Don't even get me started on Mr. Lopart....

As you can see, my daughter likes the Handy Manny, so I end up watching it and this is where my mind wanders.

"Molester, no molesting!"
"Molester, no molesting!"
"Molester, no molesting!"

MOLESTER (slinking off): "Awww, man..."
