I just bought tickets to six Mariners games.

April 18 vs Detroit (although Madrone has first right of refusal, since she is a Michigander). :)
May 2 vs Oakland
May 16 vs Boston (splurged on seats 40 rows behind home plate)
June 6 vs Minnesota
July 25 vs Cleveland
September 19 vs New York Yankees (splurged on seats down the 3rd base line)

3. I'm not.
I'm a Cardinals fan, but I am not conveniently located near a National League town.

So, I'll take what I can get. :)

29. injecting steroids into your hip may give you cysts...
I wouldn't be surprised if his cysts are steroids-related or if the cysts are really abscesses.

31. The real issue is that he has a torn labrum as well.
I'm almost sure the cysts are steroid-related. Many users have gotten them. Clemens, Giambi, et al.

33. Injecting steroids into your hip will also weaken the cartilage that makes up the labrum
thus making cartilage tears occur easier. I do not find it to be a coincidence that tendon and cartilage tears have gone through the roof in baseball in the past 20 years; synthetic steroid use makes the body stronger than it is capable of handling, and many times a muscle will tear itself off of a bone during contraction. In normal humans, this is extremely rare.

35. Not to mention that team doctors started whistleblowing steroids in 1984.
1984! Team doctors knew this was going on, but were afraid of saying anything in fears it would either ruin their relationship with players or get themselves fired. Baseball's implicit requirement that players use steroids extended as far as front office officials being informed of confiscated steroid materials in the clubhouse, only to have the steroids returned to the players. If you think baseball wanted to stop steroids, you're wrong. The only person that gave a rats ass about steroids in the early 90s was Bud Selig, but without the owners' and MLBPA's agreement to test, he was powerless to stop it.

11. I'm down with whatever.
I have no particular allegiance to the home team. I just wanted to see the park, and I love going to MLB games. Plus, there are some great players I'd like to see. Big Papi is among them.

Our farm team has relocated, so probably won't get to see a game live until I go to the cape for vacation. Lots of great farm teams up there. College ball. Some really excellent players.
