Today, I feel old...

nothing that drinking coffee, or red bull, or ibuprofen seems to be fixing...

Sore from falling down in front of a bunch of people, tripped on my shoelace, when your 8, that might sting a little, when you are 47 it frankly hurts to fall flat on your ass, hip, whatever I landed on, and to have about 15 women across the room see me lying on the floor.

I also feel old because I let myself think that someone much younger than me might really be interested in me. :shrug: oh well, I can't help it if I don't feel 47 lol, but today I feel much older than I did yesterday.

So I will just drown myself in the love of my son, and the basketball game we are watching.

I was in Las Vegas 2 years ago, i was wearing 4 inch heels and had one too many beers, anyhow i fell of my high heels in front of an entire crowd of people, i got up and took a bow and got applauded. I am like a hippo in a tutu except my tutu has cigarette burns and stains on it, a princess i ain't.

3. don't forget when little kids fall, they fall a shorter distance and with less force

your fall at 25 would have left you feeling pretty crappy afterwards too.

Yeah, it isn't far falling when you are a kid.

15. I tried to get with a woman who is 24 and I'm 36

I met her on a dating site and she seemed to like me. I got as far as getting her phone number and talking to her a couple of times. Then she wouldn't return my phone calls and e-mails.

It's probably for the best. When I was 24 I had a lot of growing to do yet. We probably would have had issues sooner or later if we were in a relationship.

Don't be embarrassed. It happens to everyone. You just have to laugh at yourself and go on. Be glad you didn't break anything. That's at least a testament to how young your body is. If you were older you could have busted a hip and had to use a wheelchair or walker. That would have totally sucked at your young age. :hug::loveya:

I understand your sentiment completely.

I've smacked my head against more hard objects than I can count. I have fallen down stairs at least a half dozen time, slid on ice and actually broke my ankle, slammed my fingers in doors, and my all-time favorite....putting an oven mitt on to pull out a preheated oven rack, and grabbing the rack with the bare hand. Holy effin' Christmas did that hurt. So, I feel your pain.

fell of my porch a couple of times, acrobatic actually

broke a bone in my foot stepping on a small piece of 4x4 I didn't throw away by my garage once

fallen from a sound sleep sitting up off my bed on my head twice waking up as I near the floor

I didn't use to be so klutzy, but I've gotten more so in my 40's

The 50's are coming if I survive these last 2.4 years til then :)

Maybe they will be the decade of grace :P

20. When you're 67, every stumble scares you. Don't feel so old, youngster.

Last night I got up to take a leak.
You'll find that you do that more and more, several times a night sometimes, as you get older.
I was half asleep.
I try to stay half asleep at piss calls so I can slip back into slumber easier.

But last night I missed the light switch and knocked the towel rack off it's bracket. The bracket made a racket.

Miz t. was immediately awake.
"You OK?"
She says that every time I sneeze, or cough, or clear my throat..
She cares.

Bella got baptized. She fell, not once, not twice, but THREE times in front of the whole congregation. We are clumsy in my family.

and it gets harder to lose weight
