Good morning Lounge
How are you today? I hope you had a wonderful weekend.

I had guests over Saturday and Sunday afternoon. I baked Cinnamon rolls :9 I love cinnamon, it is my favorite spice. I still have some left ... so if you want some, you just have to come over :7

Glad you had a nice weekend.

Mine was good. The weather was GORGEOUS! We washed cars and did some outdoor things on Saturday. Harleydad left town yesterday and arrived safely. So I'm on my own for a while. Sheba gave me a scare yesterday. She didn't come home until after 10:00PM! I called and called for her. Then I gave up at 9:30 and watched some TV and she was at the living room window when I went back up. Naughty kitty! :spank:

Ingles. I bought them for Friday, so they're not even fresh anymore. I wouldn't REALLY feed you stale donuts. :hide:

Yes, that's what she thinks. She would have come in an instant when he called. Normally, she and Simon are the last ones in. When I call them, she comes running out of the woods and then Simon shows up from nowhere. (Honestly, I have never seen him come FROM anywhere. I just turn around and he's there.) It's rare for Simon to turn up first, but he did yesterday. He was there almost as soon as I said his name, even though he wasn't there a minute ago. Like that song where it says, "Even when you think you're all alone and you've been alone for days, suddenly you turn around and see his strong a steady gaze."

They acted like they hadn't had a meal in years. And the "boys" (the brick masons are father and 2 sons) talked about it all the way home with their dad. I love it when people appreciate little things that you try to do. :loveya:

C and E thanked us several times, too. And it was really no big deal! Maybe we'll do it again soon.

23. Mornin' Miss H
I just took it easy all weekend and didn't do much of anything. Spring is almost here, though, and it's making want to get out more. I did do some financial planning, and with this last paycheck I was able to move 6 months worth of expenses into a savings account. Now I'm ready to start paying down this condo. I'm doing good despite the economy and I guess I'm fortunate to be where I'm at in that regard right now. The economy might be showing signs of improvement- at least the local economy. There were 12 ads of trucking companies looking for drivers in yesterday's Sunday paper. There were only five last week.

A picture from a few years back of my ride and me at Arnold Transportation. I no longer work there and I'm a smaller dude now days by about 40 pounds.

29. No, I've stopped looking for now
I'd probably just feel like moving on again after a couple of years at a different company. If I ever change jobs it would probably be for the best if I just changed careers. Anyway, there's nothing better out there right now that's available to me.

It shouldn't be too bad. Hopefully, I can get everything done that needs to, because they are working on the servers tomorrow, and I doubt I will have computer access at work until 10:00am or so. I'm contemplating not coming in until about then, just because it doesn't make sense to come in and not be able to use the computers.

that is easy to count.

Btw, never ever fly when there is a time change. I did it once when I came back from London to Frankfurt. It was hard to figure out when to get up and leave because the time change happens between 2am and 3am. Of course I had an early flight :eyes:

I went out with friends to a local bar/club on Saturday night. I'd never been to this place before, and it was much nicer than I was expecting. There was a fantastic house band - they played requests, and they knew everything.

The bathroom alone was jaw droppingly clean and well kept. That by itself was enough to make me want to go back.
