its locally advanced but pet scan confirms that it has not spread!!!

miraculously my back spasms have disappeared!

When you first posted about this, it sounded really bleak, and I was afraid to give you any words of encouragement, as they would have sounded hollow. But I just want to say that my mother died of breast cancer in 1969, when I was in my teens, and I know that enormous strides have been made since then; its a tough battle, to say the least, but its absolutely not an automatic death sentence anymore, far from it. I wish your friend the very best. Glad you're doing better too.
