1. Like any blanket statement...

it doesn't apply to every situation/person even if it might tend to be slightly more true than not.

I think we (men and women) go through life searching for something that we cant seem to find in ourselves.
Someone who cares for us.Someone to share things with.Someone to miss and miss us when apart.
I could go on and on.
I don't buy in to the theory.
Sure some men think and are ruled by their quest for tail.But so are some women.

Possibly somewhat amusing anecdote: I once had a guy try to tell me that all men at that age are really looking for love, but the girls are only practicing and will dump the poor lads as soon as a better one comes along... and that this situation is the reason why most men fear / distrust / hate women.
