7. I wish these so-called tournaments really meant something
They play a full conference schedule and then a tournament. The only ones who may benefit are the lower ranked teams. But let's face it it seldom happens for them.
I would like to see one of two things happen:
1) only tournament winners go to the NCAA tourney or
2) much like a state tourney, every one plays. I figure this would add two games to the tournament for most teams, three for the real dogs who would play in for the final 256 spots. That way it would be a real tournament. First round games could be played at the highest ranked school's court.

That being said, I like the Big !0 because we always seem to have pretty level competition. I always cheer for Northwestern because these guys play a disciplined style and never give up. I also like Wisconsin for the same reasons.

8. I agree with your idea
I do think everyone should go to the tournament.

I also think it's wrong that two conference tourney winners play in the play-in game. I think it should be two at large teams.

11. The 2pm "2 hour" meeting in Rm 1435 will win...
That's a sweet room with a skylight and comfy chairs, all the A/V you could want from a central control console, the meeting always breaks an hour early so people can duck out for home afterwards, it's always supplied coffee, hot water, a variety of teas, and crackers...

Oh, you mean March Madness.

I read the subject line wrong.
