And no, you are not my window to Indian culture (necessarily. ok, maybe a little)... I just like your ideas and some of the stuff you post sounds yummy/interesting. My exposure to the flavors of the region are quite limited.

I am DYING to make a yellow lentil soup. There's a middle eastern restaurant in town here that we all love - EstimatedProphet and the beautiful Prophetess always meet us there - that makes this inFREAKINGcredible Adas Majrous that I want to try to replicate.
