Doc said he hadn't seen that but one or two times before

when the teeth came out, part of the bone did too and some of my mouth roof collapsed

5. He said it was fine. I have to take some pills for swelling and watch
If I have several sinus issues, I need to persue it

otherwise, he wants to see how it heals up. I can feel bone through the gum

I have a HUGE hole and still several stitches

He asked if I had liquid coming out of my nose when I drank things...I said no

so I guess they want to see how it heals

8. crap, that sounds awful!
No wonder you were dreading the surgery so much -- maybe you had some sort of premonition that it would be a bad experience (I'm not entirely joking, either).

I really hope you feel better and don't have (much) pain. Will there be a full recovery, or will this continue to be an issue for you?

yikes, greenbriar!

9. HE didn't seem to think it would be on going as long as I don't keep getting sinus infections
I have had like 20 this school year

I have been talking funny, but I am still pretty swollen!!!

I hope you're okay, and there's no permanent damage to the roof of your mouth.

Is there anything you can do about that bone loss?

13. Did the dentist give you a time frame for healing?
I had an upper tooth pulled that had a root in my sinus cavity (insanely weird, like hold your nose, blow, and have the air come out your mouth weird) but I've never heard of anything like that.

Depending on your age talking to your family doc about osteoporosis potential might not be out of line....

Best to you, greenbriar. Sorry your dentist trip turned out so crappy. Hope it resolves itself well.

You poor dear. I am so sorry that this was such a complicated and difficult procedure for you. I hope that the healing from here on in is smooth and uneventful and complete. You deserve a break about now.

17. Did you ask him why
he didn't tell you that the day he did it? I find it very odd that he didn't say anything about it then.
