Good morning Lounge
Edited on Thu Mar-12-09 03:44 AM by MissHoneychurch
How are you today?

First things first.
Tomorrow there won't be a "Good morning" thread. I have my surgery on the toe at 11am and when I get home I will be laying on my couch and not sitting on my computer.
Monday there will be a "Good morning" thread. But I have to go to a work shop in the afternoon and won't be able to attend my thread.
Tuesday should be back to normal :)

So today is my last work day for this week :woohoo:

Sheba, one of AirmensMom's cat gave her a big scare yesterday. I am really glad she came home and everyone is more than relieved now. Of course AirmensMom is grounding her for the rest of the week. But also she is grounding my baby Simon, who likes to stay outside very long as well. Me thinks I have to have a word with this young man.

Thank you so much.

That is what I will do. Relaxing. Will go groceries shopping today after work, then I don't have to leave the house over the weekend :)

How are you doing?

5. I'm doing well.
Just counting the days 'till I can go fishing. I've got all the down riggers and out riggers all ready and waiting. My little boat thinks I forgot her, I guess. I havem't had her in the water in months.
We've had beautiful weather here lately. The water is getting warmer and the spainish mackerel and Mahi will be gathering up close to shore.Yayyyyy!:bounce: :loveya:

6. Oh nice
Will you eat your catched fish?

I don't eat fish. Even though - as you know - I love shellfish. Go figure.

But I bet it is gorgeous to sit in the boat in a beautiful area. Are you going fishing at the ocean or in a river?

7. Oh yes I always do.
I'm not a commercial fisherman, I just love to catch and share them. I enjoy cooking so that works out pretty well.A few friends laugh at my cooking thermometers, timers etc. You don't eat fish? Do you have a reason, or just don't like the taste? I bet I could cure that.
I not even gonna try to explain the sunrise on the ocean when I go out early. God saved that just for me, the seagulls and the dolphins. :loveya: :pals:

since I love to cook myself and have some toys too :)

I just don't care for the taste of fish. I try it but I just don't get any joy out of it. Does that make sense?

You just want to make me jealous, dontcha?

I know, it is like a curse. No idea why it continues to give me troubles.

I had the other side of the toe done in the U.S. while I was a nanny. Should have let that surgeon do this side too. I never had any problems with the side the American surgeon did.

I know it's different with cats, but I'd be a panicked mess if she ever got loose and got lost.

18. Good morning MissH!
Great picture! I love taking closeups, but I'm not all that great at it.

Wishing you success with your surgery. Maybe after grocery shopping, do a little extra cooking so you just have to heat things up to eat. Take it real easy. You know, you still have that daunting task of breaking in your couch. ;)

I did not know that Sheba caused AirmensMom such a scare. Glad Sheba returned safe and sound. My cat (when I had one) had a few adventures like that, so I know first hand the angst that can cause.

It is heartwarming reading all the supportive threads to AirmensMom. And never underestimate the power of Lounge vibes!

I love the pic of Sheba asleep on the white blanket.

Pasta is a nice comfort food and easy to reheat, great choice. Will be thinking of you tomorrow and sending prayers for a successful surgery and a speedy recover.

My weekend actually starts tomorrow. Heading up north for the weekend with a bunch of friends. I really need this time off.

((((((((((vibes))))))))

I hope this will be the last time you have to deal with this. And that your recovery time is short and painless.

And Tuesday we are back to normal.... I fly to VA this afternoon. It's supposed to rain the entire time I am there :( but I was promised movies and snuggling on the couch, so that makes up for the pain I will have from the weather, which I will try to hide.

I am going to try to get to the art museum though, if only for the architecture. I hope to get some good pictures....

:bounce: that Sheba is home. Perhaps a grounding is best for them.....

I had coyotes in the yard last night!! The predators are getting very hungry and kittehs and small dogs like mine are the perfect snack ....

Have a great rest of your day. I have to pack...

Great Pic of a Writing Spider. That is what we call them. I don't know their real name.

I knew Sheba would come home. Poor Simon. I am not sure if ArimensMom is being entirely fair to her children ;) I know how she feels though.

Both of my boys were out all night. They are eating breakfast and I bet they will sleep all day. They act like a couple of teenagers :eyes: :D

I hope all goes well with the toe. I must have missed the thread where you tell what is wrong with it.
