Puppy Kisses
I think it's sweet whenever my Mitzi 'kisses' me on my cheek... but if anyone else's dog kisses me I feel like I need to immediately wash my hands and/or face.

I guess I'm just prejudiced. However... there's no denying that Mitzi's little kisses are not wet and slobbery. Maybe that's just the way small breeds are.

Do you let your dog/puppy kiss you?

1. How could one not allow their pup to show affection?
Besides, a few germs is good for boosting the immune system, right?

5. Mac!
Did you know the Twins and the Orioles swapped Triple A teams? The O's have the Lynx now, and the Red Wings are part of your club. What gives, man? ;)

6. Hi Bertha!
Yeah, I saw that too. The Twinks seem to change AAA teams the way most people change their socks, but I always thought the Birds would keep Rochester.

Back in my day, the Twins had the legendary Toledo Mud Hens, then the Portland Beavers...

10. The Mud Hens!
Klinger Lives!

Mrs. V. and I like to go watch the Bowie Baysox play. They're the O's Double A team. I really, really love minor league baseball -- and Prince George's Stadium, where the Baysox play, is much easier to get to than Camden Yards. Exponentially (?) cheaper, too.

11. Minor league ball is a blast.
Back in MN, we had season tickets for the St. Paul Saints (Northern League, unaffiliated). Every game was an event. Yeah, and they played baseball too!

3. My babies give me kisses all the time.
I went and looked at a Golden puppy this weekend and got a lot of puppy kisses. Boy do I miss puppy breath, my dogs are 2 & 4.
I have not yet talked my hubby into another puppy, but I will.

4. Don't have a dog, but I like Petey kisses.
Petey is a sweetie. He reaches out his big ol' paw to stop me if I'm walking by, just so he can lick my hand. I love my Petey Boy.

7. My dog doesn't give kisses.
I don't know if that is common with Rotties because my last Rottie didn't give kisses either. But she will sniff your ear. Maybe that's her version of a kiss.

13. That Was A Quickly Learned Lesson For Me As Well... Bu-u-ut
there's not much you can do to prevent a sneak-attack directly in the nostril.

Oh well. All you can do is laugh about it. It's all love.

14. No, adorable as she is, and she's not a slobber dog either, she
has one gross habit. She cleans the kitty litter box if I don't catch her. No kisses from her. blech. I do adore her still...even with that nasty habit! :hi:

15. I Completely Understand
Our little pup is an only-child, but I've heard similar stories from a friend of mine who has a mixed-pet household. (Maybe one of those automatic scooper litter boxes would take care of the clumps before your dog does.)
