Here in the Lounge, I can make friends and feel a real camaraderie with many wonderful people I would actually love to spend time with.

In real life, I rarely meet anyone I want to ever see again, much less do I feel any real camaraderie with them. In real life, I have a few really good friends, but that's it. I don't want to spend time with the under 40 IQ crowd that runs Wal-Mart** and the church get togethers here in town. I have no Earthly urge. Thing is, the feeling is mutual. The under 40 IQ crowd that runs Wal-Mart** and the church leaders see me as the anti-Christ* and I see both those places as levels of Hell on Earth.

*Except that one guy who helped me find the 3 in 1 oil tonight. Nicest, smartest person EVER to work in our local Wal-Mart.

** I know Wal-Mart is literally Satan's sweat shop. It's the only choice we have here in the rural Hell that is middle America.

For some reason I find it easier to tell the people here all about my problems (more than they want to know probably!) and yet cannot confide in people in real life. I have a hard time opening up. I recently broke up with someone (or he broke up with me) over that.

There are many people here I think I could be friends. We already have politics in common. I live in a red state. Ok, a purple area of a red state. There are liberals here. I dated one and my boss is one but most of the people I have met are not.
