1. That's not as bad as the little guy out there taking a leak
But it's still bad. :) My hometown is still rednecky enough that some people have both of those things in their yards.

2. I have seen the yard butts with a man putting his hand on the woman's bum

I agree, not as tacky as the yard whizzers.

3. I love it, but I'm a weirdo about stuff like that
The tackier the better, but I draw the line at the Wizzer and the Flaming Cross...

4. lol
Actually, even though I thought they were tacky back when I lived in the midwest, I am seriously thinking of putting one up in my yard. Never thought I would miss yard butts.

6. I grew up seeing that IRL.
Mom never could figure out that a house dress was not appropriate garden wear. Every time I see one of those, it reminds me of her. :hide:

7. That one is doing it wrong.
It's supposed to be a skirt with the slip showing. Shorts ruin the entire thing.

13. Absolutely tacky.
Might as well throw in a couple of plastic flamingoes and a garden gnome. Or maybe one of those upended bathtub shrines with a religious statute in it. Yuk.

15. I don't think
you can get plastic flamingos anymore. I read somewhere that they stopped making them.

Not like I ever had a desire for one ...

16. That's a shame.
Years ago we'd buy those cheapo flamingoes at K-Mart or wherever and plant them on friends' lawns at night, just for fun.

21. we went around snagging the reflectors on a stick
got about 50 of them one night and planted them all in a friend's yard, lol :hi:

we also would go to local business with the letter signs and change the letters around to make them say something naughty.

23. When my daughter was in high school they did a fund raiser, they went around and sold
"insurance" to keep their collection of about 20 or so pink flamingos OUT of your front yard. It was a neighborhood thing, everyone thought it quite clever and was ok with it. They did quite well if I remember correctly.

26. You can get them, but you can't buy new Union Products originals anymore.
I have a pair of the Leominster,MA-made pink flamingos in the yard. I love lawn kitsch.

That's the stuff white trash landscaping is made of.

That and yard cars.

19. They are cute.
Then again, I like pink flamingos, giant pinwheels, and ginormous fake sunflowers too. If I could afford to decorate my yard the way I want to, my neighbors would probably sue me. :P

29. Have you seen the black sheet metal silhouettes?
I've seen those in East Texas.

There is one of a cowboy leaning against a wall, and one of a dog. They freak me out. I always have to look twice.

Speaking of yard art,

Joe Lieberman needs to go find his true calling.
