The Selection Sunday/College Basketball Thread
So the conference tournaments are finally over (well, almost, Purdue and Ohio State are still playing for the Big 10 title) and the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee will soon announce the teams and seeds for this year's March Madness. So who gets in? Who gets left out? Who gets the four #1 seeds? What's your team and what's their seed?

If the conference tournaments are any indication, then this should be a great tournament this year. Of the top 25 teams in the AP poll, only 5 won their conference tournaments (it will be 6 if Purdue wins). And of the 6 major conference regular season champions, only one (Louisville) went on to win their conference tournament.

1. My team may be the very last team in
Maryland. Honestly after all this year I will just be happy to see them get in...

2. I think Maryland should get in
Of course, they probably should've beat Duke yesterday just to be sure, and Mississippi State's win today takes another spot away from a bubble team ...

3. I'm sorry mine didn't help you out
They pretty much just gave the damn game to Mississippi State, taking away some bubble team's chances.

That game pissed me off something awful.

25. Yep, NDSU and UND were D-II for a very long time
NDSU is leading the progression to move both schools to D-I. UND will be at the level sooner than later.

Tough bracket against Texas and then probably Duke.

I hope North Dakota St knocks off Kansas and will have home court advantage with all the fans that will drive from Fargo to Minneapolis.

I guess all of Wisconsin is going to Idaho, both Wisconsin and Marquette are out in Boise.

Edit: St Paul will be hosting the High School Girl's State Basketball tournament at the same time. To all fans coming to Minneapolis be ready for heavy traffic with the NDSU fans and Girl's BB traffic.
