Happy Buzzard Day!
Today, March 15, the buzzards return to Hinckley, Ohio! I almost missed it.

2. We had a buzzard convention here in the Ozarks in February.


My guess was that they were headed to Hinckley.

Dick Goddard's Woolybear Festival, Hudson Haunted House on Holloween etc.

6. I picked up that little bit of trivia over 40 years ago from a radio
program on WMAL-AM in Washington, DC called Harden & Weaver. Every March 15, Jackson Weaver would roll it out.

7. now that you've brought it to my attention I do seem to remember it
living as a boy in SoCal the local news reported it as a sort of anti-swallows return to Capistrano story! Yes!
