I'm having a rough day
So I woke up to the sounds of Maddy tearing up a book.

I wasn't ready to get out of bed, so I brought her in my room and had her lie down on the bed.

Then Pippi started crying. I thought Pippi was crying because Maddy was in my room, so I didn't get up to see what the problem was.

We have old, nasty gutters, and the gutter outside my room is full of leaves. It's also POURING today, and the water was hitting my window. The last time this happened I got water in my room, so I finally got up to go clean out the gutters.

I went out in the living room and there was diarrhea EVERYWHERE. It was a veritable Jackson Pollack of diarrhea.

That was what Pip was crying about.

I kicked the dogs outside and cleaned it up.

Then I let them back in, went outside, and cleaned out the gutter, getting soaked in the process. I went around the back and saw that the shop was flooding. I tried for a minute to sweep the water out and failed.

Finally, I washed the floor with oil soap.

The dogs are wet, the part of the floor I didn't wash has wet dog footprints on it, I'm wet...

I need a hug. :(

2. I'm really sorry you're having a bad day - here's a hug:

On the other hand, without your bad day, the sentence "It was a veritable Jackson Pollack of diarrhea" would never have been written, and the world would be a poorer place for the loss... :)

Hope it all turns around soon!
