Can you broil in pyrex?
I know you can bake in it - is it okay to use it in a broiler? I need an answer fast!

2. Just use some foil to broil, it is safer.
After reading about the Pyrex just exploding, I quit using it all together.

8. I've heard it in dangerous because of the higher heat under the broiler.
Be careful out there.

9. If this isn't one of those bizarre "preformance art" posts, the answer is no.
There was a cool thread about that recently here, where a poster exploded a Pyrex dish under the broiler. But for all I know, you are just posting this to play some game I ain't figured out yet, and if so, sorry to interfere. I hang out at the Lounge all the time and I still haven't figured out the rules. :)
