4. I use "u" in text messages - saves time and characters....
but I would never use it in actually writing an email, etc. Does that meet with your approval? ;)

9. It's fine for people I know really well
and am friends with, like most on DU, or more.... ;-) But from strangers or or just passersby, it's a turn off to me.
