Looks like I'll have myself a summer job.
I went to an interview on Saturday, and today they called and said I was in. :woohoo:
It's at a waterpark...perfect for our over 110 degree summers. All I have to do is pass a lifeguarding class...that they are paying for. :D
If he hadn't of called today I still could have had the job. I would have just had to get certification on my own...which is over $100.

How long/involved is lifeguard certification?

2. Only this weekend.
An hour and a half on Friday, 8-5 Saturday and Sunday. Apparently it entails watching lots of videos.
Thanks for the congrats :D

3. How long does it last? Will you have to recertify every few years, or is it a one-time thing?

6. Nifty.
Hmm... if I did that I could get a job down at the place where I skate... skate for free in the winter, swim for free in the summer... would be nice. :)

4. How fun!
My sister did that a few summers, later she taught lifeguarding classes and led water aerobics at other places.
