That's the custom here in New York State, I was just wondering about other areas.

Thanks.

1. I had a PA system in my 70 Maverick (CB had an out for it, so I used it).
I warned someone with it on the way to Ocean City, MD one time (heard from the CB that there was a speed trap).

4. If you do that here, they sentence you to a year of driving a *smart* car.
The up side of it is that you can park a smart almost anywhere and anyway*.

*This is a photo I took last week in the village down-mountain from us. YES, a smart-for-two can be parked nose-in in a parallel parking space.

5. I am replying here because Heidi gave me hell in another thread about...
not replying to this post.

She acts like I have nothing better to do than to reply to all the replies to all the crap that I post in here.

Well, she is a pleasant poster, and she did take the time to post a picture and everything, which is more than most of you would do. In fact, I think that most of you reply to my posts because you don't have one other goddamn thing to do. But not Heidi, I think that she truly enjoys what I post in here, not like all you others who merely pretend.

To be perfectly honest, I bet most of you would rather whack me in the face with a fucking shovel than to respond to my posts.

So Heidi, I would like to thank you for posting a pic of the smart car. I actually think that they are cooler than hell, and would not mind owning one.

7. I was driving in the right lane on the way to the grocery store yesterday.
There was a little ol' lady driving too damn slow in the left lane. I saw the sign that the right lane was closing, and sped up to merge left.

The now traumatized little ol' lady sped up like nothing I ever saw any grandma ever do just to cut me off. I fumed.

So, it turned out she was on the way to the grocery store too. I pulled in not far behind her and seethed while I memorized what she was wearing and what she looked like.

I collected myself before going into the grocery store.

When I went in, it turns out we pretty much shopped in the produce section at the same time. I wasn't going to buy any green peppers. It wasn't on the list although I will buy some sometimes just because I like them.

So, I didn't hurt grandma, but I shot her my serial killer evil eye look at least once while I took my own damn sweet time picking out only the best green peppers for my chili. She had to wait. Payback!

She got the message.
That was all it took.
My evil eye is a force to be reckoned with.

I don't think she'll be cutting anyone off like that again any time soon. If she does, she'll be looking over her shoulder for Pissed Off Woman from the Produce Section. Serial Mom ain't got nothing on me.
