How long a trip is it from the GW Bridge to Philly?
I thought it was a little over an hour, but somebody told me it was closer to 3 hours?

That doesn't seem right unless there is massive traffic.

I was wondering because if it is 3 hours then living in between in NJ and one person working in Philly and another near the GW bridge is not feasible, as it would still be 90 minutes for each person.

5. Why not use Amtrak?
Not sure where in Philly you are going, 1:20 max for the trip!

I did it a couple of times when I worked in NYC and had an office we were opening in Philly.

6. where do you want to live?
Have to be close to the trains.

My BIL commutes into NYC from the Princeton area, but not very often.

4. In reality, depending on the route you take, 2 hours (95 to 295)
Edited on Thu Mar-19-09 03:51 PM by DainBramaged
but traffic can screw that up monumentally. I used to drive (WAY BACK) from Bergen County to Bucks County via Route #1 in about 70 minutes, but that was a long time ago.

Type Geroge Washington Bridge and then, Philadelphia!

7. I used to make a fairly frequent trip from Philly to 1 WTC.
I always gave myself 2 hours, 15 minutes to get there. Sometimes, two hours was just short of the time I needed.

Hope this helps you some. :)

10. I used to work in WFC across from WTC until the end of 2001.
Made the trip in from Fairfield County in CT.
