Any Creature from the Black Lagoon fans here?

I loved the original 1954 Universal horror film, "The Creature from the Black Lagoon".Any fans?I hear the stars Ben Chapman & Julie Adams still do conventions & shows!

1. That movie used to scare the crap o0ut of me

when I was a kid. Wow! It's funny, I had a great aunt who had real wrinkly skin and my brothers and I used to call her "The Creature from the Black Lagoon"!

5. MY GOD YOUR RIGHT!

I was surprised how much I enjoyed Creature.I actually felt bad for the creature.Afterall, who were these trespassers coming to his home?I'd be pissed as well killing people & scarring them to go away!I also enjoyed the science of it.The fact that a creature could have lived through the ice age!

I enjoyed Creature....and the sequel with John Agar made for one of MST3K's finest episodes...

7. My husband took our small boys to see it at the campus movie at FSU

and at one point when the creature was lurking ominously close by the hero character, our 4-year-old shrieked out "Black McGoon!!"

8. Julie Adams is one of the most incredible looking women ever...

in "Creature From The Black Lagoon" Absolutely beautiful.
I really do like the movie. I find something very lyrical in the scenes of the creature swimming underwater. Also a great score.
