There just didn't seem to be much inspiration. If you want to get a feel for the story or if you like the books and want to see how the book was depicted, it was ok.

The best things were the visuals at times and my two crushes from the movie. Kristen's about 19, and that's the youngest I go for crushes. I won't put Cassadee Pope from Hey Monday in yet because I'm not sure she's much closer to 19 than 18. I also go up to age 45 in significant crushes, and Marisa Tomei is one of my older crushes.

The book is a lot more entertaining IMO. The movie is pretty by-the-numbers and too self-serious. I think they were going for a creepy effect and didn't get it. There are some good visuals, and the casting is pretty good.

I already had a crush on Ashley Greene, and now I have one on Kristen Stewart. I wasn't sure about Kristen's personality, but it isn't off-putting enough to ban her from crush-dom when she's so cute.
