Leaving for the annual property owners' meeting.
I wonder what fresh hell will be visited upon us this time?
:scared:

There's at least one know-it-all blowhard I can always count on to stand up and hog the floor,
going off on tangents about crap that no one else gives a hoot about.
:grr:

Of well, the food will be good.
Pot luck lunch in a neighborhood of really good cooks.
:-)

2. I'm saving pounds of my own poo (for flinging) for the next one me and my SO have to go to
her Neighborhood Nazis are screaming about brown lawns already even though there is a watering ban for most of the week. I am so going to rat those people out when they illegally water this year. Fuck the lawn I would like a sip of water next year.

She tried Zeroscaping and was fined for not having enough percentage of green lawn as ground cover. Her lawn was photo'ed for a "green living" mag her friend works for, but they want cookie-cutter St Augustine grass.

3. After action report:
The best meeting in my 16 years here.
The president had no idea about Robert's Rules, or how the proceedings should go.

Minutes from last year were not read, so not voted on or 'approved'.
Yea!

Treasurer bumbled through his 'report' and no vote called for to accept it.
No questions from the floor.
Yea!

No recounting of 'old business'.
No call for 'new business ?'.
Yea!

Vote for 3 new board members passed by acclimation.
(My motion)
No nominations from the floor.
Yea!

The meeting was run by our beloved president who has no clue about Robert's Rules or parliamentary procedure.
It was great.
No challenges from the floor about ANYTHING.
In and out in about 20 minutes.
Then...EAT!

Best meeting ever.
We need to elect more clueless folks.
:-)

6. Then we went to a Blues & Barbecue cookoff.
It's been a good day.
Tomorrow...the annual Arts & Crafts Street Fair in Fairhope, AL.
Lots of STREET FOOD.
Life is good.
