What's with all the fees at Ticketmaster?????

I bought a ticket couple days ago for the Grammy Museum in downtown LA for a spring trip I have there....

The ticket was $14.95...On top of that, add $3.50 for a convenience charge (yeah, convenient for Ticketmaster) PLUS an "order processing fee" of $5.35 for a grand total of $23.80..$8.85 in fucking fees for a ticket that cost $14.95....I bought the ticket online, they probably charge the same if you call, perhaps even more.....Also, since I had the ticket sent via standard mail, there wasn't a charge for that....But if you wanted to print your own ticket, add another $2.50....

There was a $2.50 facility charge, $11.90 convenience charge, and $3.55 order processing. (This was for a $95.00 ticket, a balcony seat!) I chose not to print my own ticket because of that fee, so they mailed it to me, which I would think would be a more expensive action than me printing out my own ticket!

But it's not just Ticketmaster that pulls this shit. I was going to buy tickets to a national act appearing in a local club. I think the ticket price was around $20 or $25. I called the number to order tix and their 'convenience fee' or 'processing fee' or 'handling fee' or whatever they called it was $18.00! How absurd is that? I'd say trying to buy tickets tends to lead to a :wtf:
