How are you today?

Yesterday evening we had a storm here. The wind was blowing so much, it rained horizontal. It was crazy. I sure was glad that I was home already.

I won't be around much today. At 11am my time I am going to a workshop regarding our homepage. I don't know how long it will take. So please keep yourself company today :D

We're experiencing some nasty winds today too, and it's supposed to rain on top of that!

Sounds like you've got a full day at work, and fun stuff too. I do a little web stuff at my job, but I still consider myself in the kindergarten stage. :rofl: We've got some web guys that are absolutely phenomenal.

Meeting some freinds after work, so today should be a pleasant day! ;)

I pulled another 14-hour shift at work yesterday, and got home
at 5:30am my time. Which wasn't so bad as it sounds- I worked my regular
5 hours, then sat around all night while a floor-cleaning crew
redid everything they messed up the first time around.
It's a pretty good deal for me- between these all-nighters,
and covering shifts for other employees, I clocked 80 hours
in the last 2 weeks, and I'm on track to do it again.
Considering that the latest cutbacks have almost everyone else clocking 40 or 50,
I'm feeling pretty blessed right now.
I guess that's the bright side to having no social life.

Plus, I had my best 'find' of the week yesterday- an old Compaq Presario
laptop running Windows 98. It needs a new keyboard, but everything else
works fine. It's gonna let me get another dozen of my vintage
videogames running. (Have I mentioned that I collect old videogames?)

I'm posting from a system running Windows XP, and XP really does a GREAT job
running older software. But some games just don't work unless you run them
on genuine old HARDWARE, so this laptop is just what the doctor ordered.

All I need now is a first-rate Windows95 system. (And it's just a matter of time
until one comes through our door.)

Sooner or later, EVERYTHING comes through our door.

Have I mentioned that I really LOVE my job?
