Cameron just showed us her teeth.
She's 7 and lives next door.
We're kind of 'in loco grand-parentis'.

She lost TWO of her baby teeth in ONE day!
Bottom middle.
"AWESOME!" she says.
"I'm feeling so GROWN UP now that I'm losing my BABY teeth. That means I'm not a baby any more."

I've never seen a kid so excited about losing teeth.

1. My daughter was very proud to lose her baby teeth too
Her friends started losing their baby teeth at around age 5 but it took a while for my daughter. Oddly enough, I think she has lost every baby tooth by horse-playing with mom and dad. Pillow fights, tickle attacks...and the one horrible time when I reached forward at the exact moment she leaned in. I literally punched her tooth out! Complete accident, not hard, didn't hurt, but I felt like such an asshole.

3. we're guilty of paying that much too
It's dad's fault though. He gave her a dollar after the first tooth so we felt stuck at that rate for the others. x(

5. my daughter lost both front teeth within a week
the same week I was out of town. It was quite a shock to come home to a 7 year old with NO FRONT TEETH.

6. AALette was looking forward to losing teeth at 4!
She didn't lose any until she was 6, so we listened to her talk about it for two whole years before it finally happened!

Um, today she asked about getting her driver's license. She's 7. :banghead: :yoiks:
