I dressed him down a couple of weeks about how he can spend so much time here and be in medical school. I went to law school, and I know there was no way I could've been posting as much as he did. He responded about "what did you do when you ate or had a beer." My response that I read cases while eating, and I only had beer on Fri. and, maybe, Sat. nights with real life friends.

Now I kinda feel bad about that exchange. Hopefully, he's buckling down for his classes.

Mind you, I've never tried anything as difficult as law or medicine, but in college I used to throw together papers at the last minute (occasionally staying up all night to write a 6-to-8-pager) and still get mostly A-/B+'s.

Once a month on a Saturday a bunch of MN DUers get together for lunch. This has been going on for quite a long time, and he was almost always there. He organized the last one, for March 14, and made reservations at the place under his name the day before. And then he didn't show up and hasn't been heard from since.
