Did anyone watch "The Mentalist" last night?

I fell asleep - just back from a trip, plus a warm dachshund doggy snuggled up on my legs - hopeless.

So who slit the parachute? Who shot the Big Shot's girlfriend? What was with the survivalist with the bald wife?

Not that I watch for the stories - mostly I just like to see Simon Baker smile.

1. alright, here are the spoilers

the Big Shot split the parachute, placed a dud bomb under his bed, and shot the his girlfriend, who was the ultimate target (because she had been about to leave the company and sue him for sexual harassment). He plotted everything to deflect attention away from himself and make it look like someone was targeting the company. I have no idea what you mean about the survivalist's wife.

Trivia for the day: Interestingly enough, the two actors who played Big Shot and Big Shot's girlfriend also played lovers on the shortlived "Valentine".

Like most Big Shots in teevee shows, he did act pretty sketchy!

The survivalist was the red herring at the beginning - a guy who had been fired from Big Shot's company and was the initial suspect

Big Shot did it. And I wouldn't watch that show if not for Simon Baker.
