these last few nights I have been dreaming and all of my senses kicked in

Monday night I dreamt I had a cigerette...

I felt it, smelled it, put it in my mouth and lit it then
I inhaled and could feel it in my lungs. then exhaling I felt it to.
I smelled the smoke and tasted the tobacco. and I coughed.
I got sooo mad a myself for blowing 2 years of being smoke free. When I woke up I looked around to see if their were any cigs around...... thank goodness there were not

then last night I had a dream about putting on a dress sweater,
the sweater was cashmere and so soft, I felt the softness in my hands and tickled my nose by rubbing the sweater on my cheek. I remember hoping I wouldn't get any stains on it....

Lately I have had to double check when I get up to make sure what I dream is really a dream and not happened while sleep walking.

It feels so real, there are conversations i have with people in my dream that when i talk to them about it they look at me like I'm crazy.... which I am because we never had that conversation....

1. Yes

I do occasionally. Are they in color? I also sometimes dream in an other language that I know. Were you drinking alcohol? They are remarkable experiences though. I think really active brain activity that comes from various sectors cause these pseudo senses to activate. It is probably because we are so intelligent don't you think?

3. I always dream in color, and my dreams are very vivid. I've dreamed up kickass rock songs,

I've also dreamed that I'm smoking (just the other night, actually), and so on. My dreams are almost always very enjoyable.

4. I once dreamt I baked a cake with peanut butter frosting...

...and I remember thinking, damn this tastes good.

I also remember having a dream where I was crossing over the US 301 Potomac River Bridge from Maryland to Virginia, and on the Virginia side there was all this lush, green tropical foliage and beautifully clear, blue water. Which made me realize I do dream in color.

I quit smoking in '83, and sometimes I still have those dreams like you did.
