Warning: Cavit Pinot Grigio. You don't want to drink this shit.
I just ran out and bought the only non-chardonnay at the local corner store. I was surprised at the price, but then I tasted it. It's a good thing this is an excellent night or I'd be bitching about my miseries and the cruelty of Fate again.

3. Agreed. I like it best after sauvignon blanc.
Even so, I would have done better with the cheapest merlot.

6. If you like sauvignon blanc, try Nobilo.
It's from New Zealand and has a slightly grapefruity taste. It's my favorite.

13. Next time I'm out I'll look for it.
I've tried a couple wines from NZ and they vary in quality but so do wines from CA and France. I've had some good ones. Thanks for the tip!

5. Laughing.
I showed my comment to your son because you were so nice. To eat my daughter's flesh, a lot more than a bottle of wine would be required, though to eat the flesh of... naw. I won't go there. :hi:

They are all so young and straddling childhood and adulthood - mainly chidhood despite copious facial hair. I do appreciate your comments, bigwillq. :pals: :hi:

You are too, too dear! I know they'll do more, because my son's friend who does the filming/editing plans to do it as a career. He started in sixth grade and is now finishing tenth. He's a smart kid and I expect him to do well.

17. Either did I earlier, which is why I drove to the corner store.
It's the first time in my personal history I've ever craved wine so much that I've gone anywhere to get it. Next time I'll know better.

Hi BNL. Please let me know some time how you are. I think of you often and miss the time when we were better friends.

29. Awww sweetie
Thanks. I'm doing ok. The next couple weeks are big. The separation papers will be ready to sign and file, I'm getting my half of the proposed future sale of the house, and they may break ground on my new house. I got a new job to keep me busy, sane, and some pocket money.

I'll always be your friend.

35. Thank you for your friendship.
And, it sounds like you are doing things right. As you know I moved into my own house after eighteen years of marriage, on Jan. 1st. I purchased the place on Feb. 2nd. Every day since then I have grown more and more attached to it, and happier and happier. I pray you have the same experience; I think you will. It's not the house so much as it's YOUR house.

What is your agreement with your ex about custody of the kids? How are you dealing with it? You can pm me if you prefer.

It's also nasty but infinitely better than the Cavit. I'm working my way down due to circumstances, GOPisevil. At one time, I didn't shop at the dollar store either. :) :hi:

For all my misery and complaints, I have always ultimately achieved what I wanted. So, this time it's a bit of a struggle and it requires the aid of deeply crappy wine. I will CONQUER!

I love champagne but a health condition prevents me from enjoying more than a small glass or two of anything bubbly. Having said that, I will risk my life a couple weeks from now when my divorce comes through. I hope you are around, because I'm guessing I'll be "celebrating" with DUers. :hi:

And I'm drinking this crap from my best glasses, hand blown and etched from Italy; a wedding present for the marriage that is about to end. I was hoping it would make it taste better. When I have the good scotch, I'll let you know.
